👋 Greetings from METSTRADE!As the world’s largest trade exhibition of marine equipment unfolds in Amsterdam, we’re thrilled to share some fantastic news: C-Tech has expanded its team with two exceptional new hires, both of whom bring a wealth of expertise and passion to the company.

We are proud to welcome Nathan Quirk as our new Global Sail Battens Manager and Carlos de Beltrán as our Business Development Manager for Europe. Their deep knowledge of the marine industry and extensive experience in high-performance sailing make them invaluable additions to the C-Tech family.

Meet Nathan Quirk | Global Sail Battens Manager

Nathan joins us with an impressive resume that speaks volumes about his expertise and dedication to the sport. With a background that includes key roles as Sail Manager for the Alinghi Red Bull Racing America's Cup Team (2022–2024) and the INEOS America's Cup Team (2018–2021), as well as Sail Coordinator for the Volvo Ocean Race, Nathan has been at the forefront of innovation and performance in some of sailing’s most prestigious events.

Having been a loyal client of C-Tech for over a decade, Nathan is well-versed in the performance and reliability of our products. Now, as part of the team, he’ll focus on ensuring that our battens and hardware continue to set the standard in the industry. His extensive sailmaking experience, coupled with his understanding of what elite sailors need to succeed, will be a driving force for the continued innovation and quality of our products. Based in Europe, Nathan will also play a crucial role in strengthening our global presence.

Meet Carlos de Beltrán | Business Development Manager for Europe

Carlos brings over 15 years of high-end racing experience to C-Tech, having been a key figure in six America’s Cup campaigns and three Ocean Race projects. With expertise spanning the transition to high-performance foiling and the evolution of Olympic classes, Carlos has been instrumental in pushing the boundaries of the sport.

Carlos is based in Valencia, Spain, and will focus on growing C-Tech’s presence in Europe while overseeing the development of our Spanish factory. Passionate about customer service and taking on challenges, Carlos is ready to support our clients with tailored solutions and expert advice. When he’s not helping sailors achieve their best, you might find him foiling around Valencia’s waters on his moth, a testament to his passion for the sport.

What This Means for C-Tech

Adding Nathan and Carlos to our team strengthens our ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions to the sailing world.
