C-Tech Spain has successfully achieved ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management) certification, completing a six-month implementation process led by Javier Díaz and supported by Alberto Soler.

C-Tech was on the ground at The Ocean Race Europe stopovers in Alicante and Cartagena, connecting with teams and checking in on the performance of our battens, sail hardware, and FlexiFurls.

This month, C-Tech’s Head of Design, Riley Dean, competed at the 2025 Moth World Championships on Lake Garda, finishing in the Gold fleet. With years of hands-on experience in both sailing and design, Riley shares his latest observations on rig tuning, mast bend profiles, and how the top sailors are using their sails and battens to stay fast.

With the return of the Admiral’s Cup and the Fastnet Race dominating headlines, performance on the water has never been more scrutinised. But behind each result lies months of development working quietly with sailmakers and teams to get the right materials in the right place, designed precisely for the rig, the sails, and the campaign.

New Zealanders David Clark and Brett Morris—both now based in Sydney—have recently upgraded to C-Tech’s Medium OK Dinghy mast and are already reporting major gains in performance with only limited time on the water.
