Given that we manufacture all the teams’ battens and custom parts, it was a special trip. It was particularly exciting for the team to see our battens integrated into the sails firsthand.

On Saturday, the team hired a bus and headed to Barcelona.

They spent the day at the village and on the beach, watching the races on the big screens.

They had two amazing base visits:

INEOS Dock Out Party: We were invited to their dock out party and had a full tour guided by Andrew Wotherspoon. The sail loft was impressive, showcasing the hard work behind making sails race-ready. They even got to examine the sails up close and see our parts in use!

ETNZ Base: Post-racing, they also visited the ETNZ base. The shed was bustling with activity, and they got a close look at the boat. Burns Fallow, the lead sail designer, was incredibly friendly and informative.
