With decades in the marine industry and a lifelong connection to the water, Tim Willetts brings a rare blend of technical expertise and real-world insight to his role at C-Tech.

Whether working with high-performance masts, spars and tubes or out sailing and fishing in his own time, Tim’s passion for boating is at the core of everything he does, making him a trusted figure both within the company and across the wider marine community. Known for his hands-on approach and strong customer relationships, Tim combines technical expertise with real-world sailing insight something that continues to add significant value to both our products and our clients.
A long-time Zephyr sailor and keen fisherman, Tim’s connection to the water extends well beyond the workplace. His understanding of performance, durability, and design is shaped by decades of personal experience on the water, making him a trusted voice in the industry. Recently featured in Boating Magazine, Tim shared the story of his vessel Avanti, a Genesis 320 launched in 1998 and one of the last of around 290 built. Tim, the boat’s second owner, has undertaken a thoughtful upgrade, repowering her with twin Hyundai SeasAll R200S diesels to replace the original Volvo KAD32 engines ensuring the boat continues to perform for years to come.
Tim’s blend of industry knowledge, practical experience, and genuine enthusiasm for boating makes him an integral part of the C-Tech team and a great ambassador for what we do.
