RESTOCKED!

We’ve just restocked our iconic carbon fibre keyrings — here’s a bit of history behind how they first came to life.

Over a decade ago, we held an in-house innovation challenge at C-Tech. Our full team of problem solvers, manufacturers, designers, and engineers were tasked to create a carbon fibre product that truly embodied who we are: practical, innovative, performance-driven, and distinctly C-Tech.

Among the many great ideas, Tim Willetts’ carbon fibre bottle opener/shackle key/keyring stood out — a smart, lightweight solution that’s as strong as it is timeless. Designed with our roots in high-performance skiff sailing and marine hardware in mind, it features a shackle key slot to solve the problem of the missing tool at the bottom of your toolbox — now conveniently on your keyring. And of course, the bottle opener? A subtle nod to the well-earned beer at the end of a big day on the water. It took out the competition, and the rest is history.

Ever since, we’ve restocked it year after year. It’s become a C-Tech classic — a customer favourite, an event giveaway, and a small showcase of the creativity and capability that drives everything we do.
